Marra Worra Worra delivers Housing Management services via a contract awarded by the Western Australian Department of Communities (Housing). Under the terms of this contract, Marra Worra Worra provides the following key services;
Property inspections (at least 2 per year) including safety device checks.
These inspections are to ensure your house is safe for you and your family. Marra Worra Worra also checks in with you to make sure that you have all the services you need or if you need any extra help looking after your house.
Rent collection and assessment
Marra Worra Worra collects income information from you to make sure you’re paying the right amount of rent. MWW can help you with rental payment arrangements so that your rent is collected by the Department of Communities (Housing).
If you have a maintenance problem with your house, Marra Worra Worra can help. Under the terms of the current contract Marra Worra Worra no longer directly completes maintenance work in community houses. Marra Worra Worra does however report your maintenance requirements to the Department of Communities (Housing), who then request Lake Maintenance to complete your maintenance requirements. Marra Worra Worra also reports maintenance to the Department of Communities (Housing) for vacant properties.
Applications and Occupations
Marra Worra Worra manages the housing wait list and works with community councils to review applications and occupy houses in communities.
